Conceptualization Process
We work with our customers to view designs and understand exactly what they’re looking for, and we keep our customers involved in every stage of our process from conceptualization through the fabrication of waxes to the final product. We even take people on a tour of our studio to show them exactly how their custom jewelry is being made.
Once we have a general idea of what we want to create, we move on to the fabrication phase.
Fabrication
The first process is where we create a wax, either by hand-carving it or generating the shape with a computer program. Once we have the wax, we bring the customer in so they can approve the wax before we take the next step.
Finishing Process
Using various metal shaping tools, we engrave, shape, and add personality to your unique, custom jewelry. After the ring has its final shape, we will add any precious stones and polish the finished work.
If you would like to work with us to create a custom piece of jewelry, please send us a message and we will be happy to begin creating a masterpiece just for you!

Appraisals
An appraisal is a statement as to the authenticity, quality, design, and value of a piece of jewelry based on, and supported by training, equipment, and expertise in the field of jewelry appraising. There are many types of appraisals which dictate the type of the use of the market considerations and value conclusions.
The appraiser gives their opinion of the defined value with an adequate description of the piece, as of a specific date, with the supporting analysis as to the value given according to the current market conditions.
The specific need for an appraisals may be:
- to obtain insurance
- settle inheritance
- probate or estate requirements
- substantiate the fairness of a price of an item being considered for purchase
- confirm another appraiser’s evaluations of an item
- to determine the value of an item received as a gift
Appraisals usually take a week to 10 days, or longer, depending on the complexity and number of items.
