Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! We are able to use your loose stones, or remove stones from other jewelry, to incorporate them into your new designs. We also have a wonderful collection of diamonds and colored stones in our store that could help compliment or inspire your designs.

Yes. We are able to offer payment for scrap gold in the form of a check or store credit, which can be used toward a repair or a jewelry purchase. Gold prices are assessed daily and are prone to fluctuation. The price we offer is only good for the day we quote it.

We also consign pieces that are still in good shape, but no longer needed. We are selective when choosing pieces to display in our estate case, so if we feel it would be a good option, we can go over pricing and work out an arrangement.

Yes, we do offer engraving services. We are able to provide hand engraving services on pieces where there is room for designs: inside rings, on pendants and charms, or design motifs as decoration. We also have the ability to engrave inside rings with a simple lettering design, using our mechanical process. Limitations to engraving do exist, but our goldsmiths can explain the best way to incorporate the details you are looking for.

When possible, we are able to expedite repairs to a same-day or 24-hour schedule. This is done on a case-by-case basis and at an increased price. If you have something you need repaired quickly, it is best to call us to find out how busy we are. Our normal turnaround time is 7-10 days, but we are willing to work with your schedule if we can.

No, we have several display cases of one-of-a-kind jewelry made by our goldsmiths. We also have a few jewelry lines from local and small, East Coast designers. We carry an extensive collection of estate jewelry and a beautiful line of sterling silver pieces, too.

Yes, we have a collection of diamonds in the store, and we are able to source diamonds to look at and compare when you are designing your jewelry. We also have a Graduate Gemologist on site to help explain the details of a gem grading report and answer any questions you may have with your diamond purchase.

We are able to offer Natural Mined Diamonds, Lab Created Diamonds, and diamond alternatives like Moissanite.

We can change batteries, adjust links in watch bands, and change out old watch bands for new ones. Unfortunately, we do not sell replacement watch bands and we do not clean or maintain watch movements. Although we can give recommendations for local watch repair shops, most companies will want to deal with customers directly when it comes to repairs.

  • For Gold and Platinum, we recommend you use a soft toothbrush and a bit of mild dish detergent, mixed into some warm water, to clean your pieces.
  • For Silver, we recommend using a jewelry polishing cloth. Silver polish and silver cleaning solutions can often be too harsh, but we sell a polishing cloth that works well without any mess or risk.
  • For jewelry with delicate stones, like Opals and Pearls, we do not recommend you clean them yourself. There are many cleaning solutions that can damage them, so it is better to bring them in to us for a gentle cleaning.

If you have any questions or concerns about the best way to clean your jewelry, please bring those pieces in to us and we can help you. We also provide complimentary cleaning and polishing every day!
